E-Brevet

We are pleased to announce that E-Brevet validation is now available for some permanent events. It offers contact free "proof of passage" via a new smartphone app (it doesn't replace other forms of validation which will continue to be accepted). For now you will need an Android phone to use it but an iOS version will be developed if it is successful.

Initially perm organisers Lucy McTaggart, Anton Brown and Mike Wigley are offering it, and there are others interested whose events are currently not open for entry. There isn't a special indicator yet on the perms list but you should see a note in the event description. If you want to use it, enter using the basic online option (not "by GPS").

Rider's instructions are available here. Even if you aren't planning to enter any events offering it you can download the app and test it out with the X1000 "Sofa Surfer". You can also login to the E-brevet website and get an up to date list of events for which it is enabled.
